For thousands of years Idaho has been inhabited by Native American peoples.Idaho has the most miles of protected nature in the continental United States. Whether these areas are recognized as wilderness areas, national forests, state parks or local parks, they offer easy access to fabulous nature: spectacular waterfalls ,amazing dunes, wild rivers, shimmering lakes and towering mountains.
Syringa was designated the official state flower of Idaho in 1931.
